We’re Lacy JeanneMarie Collier and Sydney Alcorn, cousins in our twenties and the founders of this family-grown boutique. What began as a shared idea between the two of us has blossomed into a passion for curating high-quality, stylish pieces that reflect our roots, our values, and our love for building something of our own.

Our inspiration comes from two of the most influential people in our lives—our grandparents, Dorothy Jeanne and Sidney Kyle. They built our family’s farm from the ground up, teaching us the importance of hard work, resilience, creativity, and heart. We admired our Poppy for his determination and entrepreneurial drive, and our Nana for her timeless style and warm, welcoming spirit. Their legacy continues to guide every decision we make.

Our name, Twin Oaks, is a tribute to Twin Oaks Regenerative Farm, established in 1987 and still proudly operating today. The farm raises grass-fed Angus beef with a strong commitment to sustainability, quality, and family tradition. It’s a place full of meaning for us—a reminder of where we come from and the values we want to carry forward. One of our dreams is to offer our farm’s grass-fed beef in our future storefront, bringing together the two sides of our family’s work in one special place.

While we’re starting online, Twin Oaks Trading Co. is growing with the long-term vision of opening a storefront right here in our local community. We imagine a warm, inviting space—part boutique, part gathering place—where people can come to browse thoughtfully curated goods, discover local makers, reconnect with community values, and experience the heart behind our brand. A place where our family’s story and your support come together under one roof.
